نوید میرزایی، جوان ۲۲ ساله و میهنپرست اهل اسلامآباد غرب (شاباد)، در تاریخ ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ جان باخت. او در زادگاهش و در جریان اعتراضات و خیزشهای مردمی کشته شد. نوید میرزایی بر اثر شلیک مستقیم مأموران جمهوری اسلامی به قلب و قفسه سینه خود به شهادت رسید. مرگ او در بستر آنچه انقلاب «شیر و خورشید» نامیده شده، رخ داد. از نوید میرزایی به عنوان یکی از جانباختگان راه آزادی و «فرزند ایران» یاد میشود که جان خود را فدای میهن کرد و نامش جاودانه شد.
